Adverse Mortgages

No Proof of Income. Affordability

Where someone has difficulty proving all of their income, we have lenders who will look at your circumstances favourably and not require you to prove your income, self employed or employed.

We are required to satisfy ourselves about your ability to repay the mortgage that you are applying for and not encourage you to take out a mortgage for more than you can afford. Although both the lender and Prosper Mortgages will assess status and financial circumstances of borrowers, it will be your reponsibility to make sure that you can meet your monthly mortgage payments. A decision by a lender to offer you a mortgage does not mean that we have recommended that you take on the financial commitment of your mortgage.

If you decide to proceed with the mortgage, we want you to be sure that you can meet your mortgage payments as well as any other financial commitments that you might have. You need to take time to think carefully about this. You should not enter into the mortgage or any other financial obligations if it will become difficult for you to meet the monthly payments as well as your other normal monthly outgoings.
